Mellissa- I've been reading your blog and have found it very Helpful Megan Q. told me about you. I'm 12 weeks, but am very interested in alternative labor/birth options. I will, for various reasons, need to give birth at Allina DT minni; I want to bring in my own techniques as much as possible. Have you been able to do that at your hospital births? Have you used a doula? Would you say it's worth it to buy the tub to labor mostly at home, if I will have to go to the hospital for that actual birth?

Just curious how much to rent this and what brand is it?
This is a La Bassine birthing pool. It costs about $110 to buy. I don't know of anywhere you can rent them.
